Diddy Trial Begins in New York - Cassie Takes The Stand In the first four days of Diddy's trial, his former partner Cassie Ventura has given evidence and been questioned by the defence. She testified that Diddy raped her at the end of their relationship and that she was forced to take part in 'freak-offs', sexual encounters in which Cassie would have sex with male escorts while Diddy watched. Diddy’s defence team have tried to establish that they may have been consensual.
