Chris and Veronica have been together since they were in high school... when she leaves him for a job in California, he's heartbroken and can't get over her. When his best friend crafts a time machine, he tries it out to see if it'll work. Going back to the day of their breakup via a nuclear powered FitBit, Chris tries to stop her leaving but winds up having to confront the consequences upon his arrival back to the present.
