Alex, a young aspiring journalist, is eager to leave his island home for a better life in the city. The film follows Alex on a journey as he attempts to understand what happened in a serious boat accident, which had resulted in a hospitalization. Whilst investigating this story, Alex is forced to revisit some distorted memories of his loving girlfriend, Emily, and his father, a grieving angler.
