Danish schoolboy Buster is an optimistic nerd, but hardly noticed by his flame, affluent classmate Simon-Olaf, whose popular jock big brother Simon-Olaf is determined to keep a shrimp like Buster away. He hopes to win popularity and her hand hand by learning magic tricks from old, bedridden Mr. Larsen, to win the local talent show. His dysfunctional family doesn't help, with a nosy little sister, encouraging confused father and mistrusting mother. Without a budget, he must earn cash as bike delivery boy for the local florist, which also has teething - and worse problems. Heating love is at stake, Larsen fields his secret weapon, but has to be hospitalized, and Buster isn't properly prepared.—KGF Vissers
