Daas Dev is a political thriller in which Dev is not a loser but a person who takes control of his life. He gets addicted to drugs and alcohol and eventually becomes hungry for power. Whether Dev manages to rid himself of these addictions and how Paro and Chandramukhi figure in his already convoluted life forms the crux of the story.
