Microsoft has released Windows 11 build 26300.8170 as the update KB5083632 for version 26H2 through the Windows Insider Program. This preview introduces improvements to existing features and a small set of fixes. According to the company, the “Windows 11 Insider Preview Quality Update (26300.8170)” ships changes to how to format FAT32 volumes via commands, from 32GB to 2TB. Microsoft also notes that it is improving the navigation performance when opening the Disks & Volumes settings page. In addition, when opening the “Storage” page, you’ll notice the User Account Control dialog when opening the temporary files settings rather than when opening the section page. This update also fixes a problem with the “Data Usage” page, where the page showed large, unrealistic values. Although these changes are part of development for version 26H2, the operating system may still report version 25H2 in Settings for now.
