Their self-titled debut album captures a live performance of straight ahead blues songs. --- "First Pull Up, Then Pull Down," the second Hot Tuna album, continued the band s focus on classic blues songs but with a more electrified sound complemented with jazzy licks from violinist, Papa John Creach who also played with the Jefferson Airplane. --- Released in 1972 Burgers was Hot Tuna s first studio album and most of the songs on it were written by guitarist, Jorma Kaukonen.
