Lee Jung-hwan, a fierce animal trainer, lives a chaotic daily life with his rebellious teenage daughter, Lee Soo-ah, who is full of passion for dancing. One day, Soo-ah becomes infected by a zombie virus that has swept across the globe. In a desperate bid to protect her, Jung-hwan takes Soo-ah to Eunbong-ri, a seaside village where his mother, Kim Bam-sun, lives. Amid growing societal pressure to root out the infected, Jung-hwan notices that Soo-ah, despite being a zombie, vaguely understands human speech and reacts to her favorite things: dancing, and her grandmother's sharp but loving flicks of the hand. Refusing to give up on her, Jung-hwan draws on his years of experience as a tiger trainer and begins an intensive training program for his zombie daughter. A training journey more terrifying than handling a tiger and more difficult than dealing with teenage angst begins. The most heartwarming and hilarious top-secret project is about to unfold!"

This has edited "soft" English captions; that is, English subtitles are part of the MKV file and the subtitles can be enabled or disabled as you wish.
I downloaded the source "좀비딸 My Daughter is a Zombie, 2025.1080p.WEBRip.H264.AAC.mp4" video and English subtitles "My.Daughter.is.a.Zombie.2025.1080p.WEBRip.AAC.H264-[OnlyKDrama.top].mkv.stream2-en.srt". Then I...
- Used Subtitle Edit (by Nikolaj Lynge Olsson) to find and fix all flagged issues
- Added 0.7 second to each subtitle (where possible) to allow more time to read them and adjusted words/minute to at least 280
- "Softened" all subtitled profanity (bastard --> jerk, damn --> darn, bitch --> wench etc.)
- Corrected commonly-found typos, converted many word pairs into common English contractions, brought together sentence fragments, removed unnecessary translated words like "oh" and "ah", etc., converted Korean Won amounts into American Dollars, converted British terms to American ones, and (where needed) converted Korean names to AP style (family name followed by hyphenated given name)
- Watched the film and added some missing translated parts; italicized music lyrics, characters' thoughts, flashbacks, and some off-screen dialogue; also color-coded some subtitles for clarity as appropriate, using yellow, teal, and salmon colors for signs, flashbacks, and written/printed material respectively
- Used Handbrake to create the new MKV file
