"By No Means" depicts a recurrent family drama. An ambitious husband, driven to succeed, travels a lot. He's always on the edge, nervous from high stress conflicts at work, with no time for his family. Wife, left alone, seeks fulfillment outside the marriage. In a moment of stress, husband knocks wife's treasured family heirloom off the ledge. The antique glass vase shatters. The marriage fractured, a replica of the vase becomes a clue.
