Description:
Successful night club owner Langston proposes to his girlfriend, photographer Diana "Sugar" Hill. However, kingpin Morgan and his mobsters murder Langston when he refuses to sell his night club to Morgan. Sugar then seeks out the voodoo priestess Mama Maitresse to ask her for her help in avenging Langston's death. Mama Maitresse summons Baron Samedi, the Lord of the Dead, to aid Sugar in her task. In return, she offers her soul to him. Baron Samedi then raises up from the dead a zombie army to serve Sugar. Meanwhile her ex-boyfriend, Detective Valentine, investigates the deaths of Morgan's mobsters and suspects that the killer is using voodoo to murder them.—Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
